Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization who provides spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world, helping meet the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Read more here.

Highlight: Feeding America
Here we highlight recent efforts, connections, and conversations centered around community efforts and the work of charity organizations.
Feeding America is a hunger relief organization with a nationwide network of food banks to feed the hungry. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, unemployment has soared and food insecurity is on the rise. It is estimated that more than 50 million people may face hunger because of coronavirus in 2020. Due to COVID, many in-person efforts are on hold, but we are exploring virtual support options as we speak. Sure, we could just send money, and sometimes we do, but we’d also like to contribute in a hands-on way. More to come.
